As you get older, you will start to experience more and more problems with your body.

One of the biggest issues that men complain of is hair loss, with the problem affecting a large number of males for a number of reason including stress, poor nutrition or even hereditary.

It would be fair to say that most are exceptionally worried if it is the latter and that is the reason behind Regaine, with this product aiming to tackle hereditary hair loss in men.

The breakdown on Regaine

  • · Contains ingredients that will help you stop losing hair
  • · As well as prevention, Regaine also promotes the regrowth of hair
  • · Unlike many hair loss products, Regaine is unscented, meaning you can utilise the treatment comfortably
  • · It is the only clinically proven foam hair loss treatment for men, meaning you can use the product with confidence
  • · Statistics show that 90% of men say they saw improvements whilst using Regaine, highlighting that it has a high success rate

Regaine Cons

  1. · Regaine is only licensed to be used by men aged between 18 and 49 and the trials indicate that those who do not fall between this bracket should not use the treatment
  2. · The product is not available on prescription, with a single pack costing £34.95

Regaine – How does it work?

In short, the way in which Regaine tackles hair loss is by stimulating hair follicle growth. These follicles, which will have shrunken due to the hair loss, are provoked into expanding and the result is that thicker hair can gradually grow back.

The manufacturers of Regaine make no secret of the fact that minoxidil is the ingredient behind their success. This ingredient functions by improving the blood flow to the hair follicles, which results in an increase in the size of the follicles which in turn promotes hair growth. As well as resulting in the regrowth of hair, those patients utilising Regaine are likely to see their hair grow back in thicker form. This is because the minoxidil also increases the hair shaft diameter, which allows hair of a thicker nature to establish itself.

Will Regaine work for you?

It doesn’t matter what type of product you buy, there’s no better feeling than purchasing with confidence. This usually comes in the form of past customer reviews or medical statistics and fortunately, Regaine holds both of these. There have been numerous studies conducted on the treatment, with one highlighting that nine out of ten men saw their hair regrow after four months of using the treatment for twice a day. This particular trial was conducted on 352 men, highlighting that the results are quite substantial.

As well as the stats, Regaine arrives with a shedload (pardon the pun) of very positive customer reviews. Many have commented that this is the only treatment they have tried that not only restores hair, but also thickens it. Some past users have also reported benefits in as little as a few weeks.

It is worth mentioning that you should try to use Regaine for at least four months, no matter what the results are. Some patients will stop using the treatment if they see further hair loss after the first couple of weeks of treatment. Strangely, this is a very good sign and highlights that the treatment is already working, with old hair about to be replaced by thicker, new hair. As the above has shown, the statistics and past reviews show that Regaine is working for a lot of people and there is no reason to suggest that you won’t experience similar effects.

Does Regaine have side effects?

There are several known side effects associated with Regaine, with the most common including rashes, headaches, inflamed skin, faintness, dizziness and sometimes an unexpected weight gain. As well as this, some users have reported temporary hair loss, pruritus, muscular pains and dry skin. There are also many more that have been reported, although it is worth mentioning that these are only affecting a minority.

Our recommandation

We highly recommend Har Vokse instead of Regaine. It’s a newer product, with more robust clinical studies, and better customer reviews.

Regaine review summary

As the review has highlighted, the science and statistics suggest that Regaine could be the ideal product for your hair loss. Admittedly, it only works for men of a certain age, yet the reports from this market are superb and this means that Regaine is quickly establishing itself as one of the most popular treatment options in the hair loss market.
