When the majority of women are asked what the main complaint about their body is, the most common answer is probably going to be cellulite. Over recent times there have been various products to relieve women of their cellulite symptoms, although one of the latest solutions focuses around a clinic treatment approach. This solution is VelaShape, with patients able to visit a specialised clinic and receive treatment on their cellulite via VelaShape technology.

The breakdown on VelaShape

  • · Completely FDA-cleared – you don’t have to worry about any safety or reliability issues
  • · VelaShape helps tone the body, meaning that you don’t have to put together an extensive exercise program to look physically toned
  • · It’s quick – your body will experience a notable change within four treatment sessions
  • · Notice a reduction in circumference of the hips, waist and thighs
  • · It’s completely painless – VelaShape involves absolutely no surgery and no pain

VelaShape Cons

  1. · Mild redness can sometimes be prevalent for a few hours after treatment
  2. · This isn’t a treatment you can administer in your own home, you’ve got to find a specialist clinic in your area
  3. · Women who are pregnant cannot have VelaShape treatment

VelaShape – How does it work?

Before the science of VelaShape is explained, it should firstly be pointed out just what the treatment involves. A patient will be lying on a standard hospital bed, before a vacuum-like device is gently rolled over their skin. The fact that this device has been fitted with various massage instruments means that it is completely safe on the skin, with some describing the sensation as very pleasant.

In relation to the science behind VelaShape, the main secret of the success of the product is the elōs technology. This is a relatively new form of technology, with VelaShape being one of the first products in the world to utilise it. Put simply, elōs combines bi-polar radio frequency and optical energy, with patients being benefited by both forms of technology at the same time. This results in the following advantages:

· Light energy can be used at a safe standard for all skin types
· The combination of the technology means that the epidermis is not as vulnerable
· The result of the two types of technology working together is a cool sensation, meaning it is completely comfortable for the patient

As well as the elōs technology, a vacuum is also involved in the treatment and the combination of the two help to erase the fatty areas that cause cellulite. It does this by decreasing the water content in these areas which in turn reduces the size of the fat cells.

Will VelaShape work for you?

Even though VelaShape is quite a new treatment, the omens already seem to be good. One of the best ways in which one can analyse treatment methods is through medical studies and despite being new to the market, VelaShape already has several to its name. Through one of the main studies, it was established that 85% of treated areas were affected in an extremely positive way. When we describe the improvement in this manner, the official explanation is a reduction between 1cm and 7.2cm, which is certainly impressive to say the least.

There is also an even more targeted survey available, with VelaShape being tested on women that have just given birth. It’s a well-known fact that new mums can experience significant cellulite and due to this, the manufacturers of VelaShape seemingly made it their main aim to appeal to this sector. The study found that for one VelaShape treatment per week for a period of five weeks, the general improvement was a 2.33 inches improvement on the buttock, 1 inch on the thigh and 2.9 inches on the abdomen. Bearing this in mind, it can be established that the treatment is thoroughly effective with those who have just given birth and subsequently, practically anyone who tries the treatment.

VelaShape also has countless testimonials from past customers, with some recording some marvellous success stories. For example, one woman dropped from a size 12 to a size 8, while various physicians have also stated that the treatment is proving very popular amongst patients due to its success rate.

Bearing the above in mind, all of the current evidence concludes that VelaShape could definitely work for you.

Does VelaShape have side effects?

There are few side effects associated with VelaShape, with most patients simply experiencing a mild heated sensation along with red skin for a few hours following treatment. There have been cases of more serious side effects, although these appear to be short-term and last for just a few days. Examples include bruising, scabbing or blistering – with people with loose skin seemingly being more at risk.

VelaShape review summary

In comparison with several other cellulite offerings, VelaShape is slightly different as it involves physically visiting a clinic. However, this should not deter people, as the feedback through studies and testimonials so far is very positive and indicates that the treatment could be extremely worthwhile.
